The night off the storm

Walt: Create a character writing story

Today we had to do character writing stories where we pretty much designed a video game character! We wrote a story about it, we also had to draw a picture, mine is below. We got to write a story about anything we wanted so I created Dusk and his story.

Dusk

The thunderous crash of waves boomed across the rocks! The little egg rolled across the deck of the damp ship. The egg rolled off the wrecked ship and rolled down the cobble steps into the abandoned basement of the lighthouse. The steps draped with seaweed with a slippery texture and slimy goop dripping down the walls. The black pebbled egg rolled into the corner of the cave where it began to hatch.

The black pebbles flaking off the egg and the shell crunching and the shell sliding off. Black paws emerged from the egg and a creature midnight black tumbled out, everything went quiet the only thing heard was the ferocious raindrops beating on the island like a drum.

Four years later the storm was exactly the same, the current roaring, the rain hammering down, and the same creature in the same cave.  The darkened wings of the dragon shone a deep ebony black shrouding its masked face! The tail was long and scaled with wings poking off in the shape of an arrow quill. Dorsal plates crept along its spine to the top of its head. It has stubby legs underneath with blunt claws. The eyes shone a startling emerald green showing the wilderness and telling a story at the bottom of the cave in the abandoned lighthouse.

The beast lay on the stone floor of the cave thinking about the cries of the men of the day of the shipwreck. The memory was faint as the creature was just an egg. The last thing he heard apart from the rolling thunder was the name Dusk, the only thing it had heard while rolling off the damp hollow deck. That was the creature's name, Dusk. Dusk shook his head and stretched his big black wings. He crept up the cobble steps like an elusive shadow. Dusk lifted his wings and with one ginormous flap lift of.

The creature flew over the sea wind howling as he bent his wings bending through the sea stacks, the thunder crashing on the waves and the sea stack tips. SUDDENLY a grappling hook gripped onto Dusk's ebony black wings yanking him in as he made attempts to blow up the chain.

The next thing Dusk remembered was waking up in a cobblestone cave but not in his cave in the abandoned lighthouse! There were rusty steel bars blocking his way out. Dusk let out hopeless roars and thunder shocks in an attempt to dent them and getting out.  Dusk heard the rattling of chains and footsteps coming his way.

Reflection:
I found it easy to publish the story on my chrome.

I found it hard to come up with the story in my head.

Next time I will add more descriptions.
